Dean of the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor V. Harutyunyan and Lecturer Ch. Nersesyan participated in the International Conference on “The Impact of Climate Change on Transportation through the Territory of the Republic of Armenia”. The impact of climate change on the RA transport sector and their infrastructure, their consequences based on the type of transport, climate factor and on local or territorial conditions and vulnerable areas were discussed at the meeting. Concluding his speech, V. Harutyunyan noted that given the fact that the adaptation of transport networks caused by climate change is a serious issue, it can be solved only by joint efforts at all levels of cooperation.
