“INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING: YEREVAN 2025”

Today, the “International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering: Yerevan 2025” launched at NUACA.

This year, on October 24-26, the University is holding the “International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering: Yerevan 2025” for the first time.

The Event was organized in cooperation with the Higher Education and Science Committee, as well as the Regional Science Association International and the Caucasus Association of Regional Science. The Conference brought together leading specialists, scientists and experts in the field of civil and environmental engineering from different countries of the world to exchange scientific experience and strengthen cooperation.

The opening ceremony of the Conference began with a welcoming speech by NUACA Rector Manuk Barseghyan: “I warmly welcome you all to the opening ceremony of the “International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering: Yerevan 2025”. This Conference is not just a scientific event for us; it is a testament to ideas, cooperation, and progress.

Today, scientists, engineers, researchers and experts from different countries have gathered here to discuss together the current challenges of civil and environmental engineering and their solutions. The presence of such a large number of partners from different countries of the world testifies that education and science are the driving force of the progress of the field of all countries and at the same time serve as a unique bridge, uniting scientific ideas and values ​​around the common aim of development. May this conference become not only a platform for scientific exchange, but also the beginning of new partnerships, joint research and the continuation of international cooperation.

At the opening ceremony a welcoming speech was also delivered by Deputy Chairman of the Urban Development Committee of the Republic of Armenia Nune Petrosyan, President of the Union of Builders of Armenia Vahan Harutyunyan, Rector of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography Nadezhda Kamynina, Director of Graduate Studies in Regional Sciences in the Department of City and Regional Planning of Cornell University, President of the Armenian representation of the Caucasian Association of Regional Science Anahit Harutyunyan, as well as rectors and representatives of partner international universities.

Thematic reports and discussions are envisaged during the Conference, addressing current issues in civil and environmental engineering, sustainable development policies, new technologies, and prospects for international scientific cooperation.
