NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

January 28 is the day of the Armenian army formation. On that day, our peace and defense were strengthened with the formation of the Armenian army.

National Army Day is one of those exceptional holidays that our people celebrate with great love and pride. The birth of our national army was difficult. It emerged in battles for the defense of the Homeland, in hardships and sacrifices, embodying the patriotic spirit of our nation, the will to protect our national rights, and the confidence in future.

The Army Day is another occasion and opportunity to remember all those heroic freedom fighters, whose dedication, often at the cost of their lives, created and established our army. The creation and history of the Armenian army are inextricably linked with the historical reality of the creation of Armenian statehood, since the concepts of state and army are mutually dependent, and it is difficult, if not impossible, to imagine one without the other.

We are proud of our students, graduates and employees who waged a relentless struggle for our protection today during the first Artsakh war, four-day April war, and 44-day war.
