In the UN calendar, February 11 marks the day of women and girls in science. There are a lot of women researchers at our university, and it is an important precondition for the day to show respect and attention to their vocational work.

The Scientific-Research Laboratory for the Protection and Efficient Use of Environmental Resources of the NUACA was set up in 2015 within the framework of the Innovation Competitiveness Foundation and with the support of the World Bank Yerevan Office.

Today, the representative of the World Bank Yerevan Office was hosted at our university to get acquainted with the lab’s conditions, equipment and everyday work of female researchers. What kind of employment does the laboratory have, in which field the research is being carried out, and in general, how does a female researcher works? The questions are actual and important, especially on February 11.
