NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Today, the professional day of the Armenian Builder was celebrated with grate ceremony and traditionally. The festive event was attended by RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Vahagn Vermishyan, Chairman of the RA Union of Builders, Rector of NUACA Gagik Galstyan, representatives and guests.

Congratulating on the symbolic day, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan noted that the Armenian builder has always been at the forefront of the creative forces of society, and the builders are people who are selfless devotees of one of the driving forces of our country’s economy – in the field of construction. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister attached special importance to the implementation of social-oriented development programs. “The government recognizes that it is very important to regulate licensing and pricing issues, as well as to thoroughly review the process of interconnected public construction tenders to improve the construction sector. There is also a need for improvement in the area of ​​expertise that will ensure the security of tomorrow’s structures”.

“This special day celebrated by the Government of the Republic of Armenia highlights the important mission of urban development and, in particular, of the builder in the development and progress of the country’s economy,” noted Gagik Galstyan in his congratulatory speech. He noted that the Union of Builders of the Republic of Armenia, using its contacts and business relations, with the support of the state department, initiates and does its best to involve large international construction companies in the implementation of investment projects in our country, which makes the further development of the country’s construction economy inevitable. Regarding construction education and honoring the honorable name of the Armenian builder in the future, the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, jointly with the RA Chamber of Architects and the Union of Builders of the Republic of Armenia, is doing its best to organizing effective and skilled architectural and construction educational trainings both in our country and abroad.

After mutual congratulations the most important thing starts! By the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan, the President of the Union of Builders of the Republic of Armenia, Rector of NUACA Gagik Galstyan has been awarded by the RA Honored Builder degree.

The builder is not a profession but a mission, the sacred duty of continually serving and creating one’s own nation and people. With this conviction, Armenian builders wished each other good health, new professional successes, and an inexhaustible drive to convey enduring values ​​to future generations.
