EXHIBITION “SKETCH (PHOTOGRAPH) WITH THE FACULTY OF DESIGN” WAS HELD

The exhibition “Sketch (Photograph) with the Faculty of Design” organized by the Student Council was held at NUACA, where the creative works of students from all Faculties of the University with unique thinking were presented.

The Exhibition opened with a speech delivered by the Co-author of the Program and President of the Student Council of the Faculty of Design Elena Abrahamyan. She spoke about the idea of the Program and the journey of its creation, emphasizing that this Program aims to reveal the creative potential of students and present the activities of the Faculty of Design to a wider audience.

Within the framework of the Program, students, accompanied by a lecturer at the Faculty of Design Sargis Abedi, visited Saghmosavank Monastery, the hidden waterfall of Haghartsin, the Garni Temple, and the Azat Reservoir with the purpose of engaging in creative activities and seeking new sources of inspiration. The Exhibition featured photographs and artistic works created during these excursions, offering the audience a glimpse into the students’ unique perceptions and professional approaches to artistic expression.

Vice-Rector for International Relations Vardges Yedoyan delivered a welcoming speech at the Exhibition and underscored the significance of such initiatives in fostering students’ creative development and enriching University life with diversity.

In his speech, Mr Yedoyan noted: “To see beauty, to notice it, and to present it to others in a way that touches the soul—this is a great gift. Strive to share your God-given talent with the world, for today, in the midst of our complex reality, such expressions of creativity are of immense importance. Our students frequently amaze us with their talents—not only within the University community but also among our guests and international partners. Once again, I  congratulate all participants on this initiative.”

Advisor to the Rector Arman Arakelyan congratulated the students during the Event, and highly appreciated the initiative of the Student Council and the active engagement of students in this significant Program emphasizing the importance of such events in developing the cultural and educational environment of the University. In his speech, he noted: “This initiative by the Student Council is truly commendable. The Event not only showcased students’ talents and their unique visual worldview but also fostered collaboration between different Faculties, demonstrating that NUACA remains a leading center for creativity and science.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the students who took part in the organizational work of this Event, dedicating their time and effort to enriching the cultural life of the University.”

At the end of the Exhibition, participants had the opportunity to thoroughly explore the students’ works, which reflected diverse approaches, thematic variety, and technical skills.
