Dear scientists, researchers, lecturers, and students,
On November 10, the world celebrates the World Science Day for Peace and Development. This day provides another opportunity to emphasize the exceptional role of science in ensuring the sustainable development of states, social progress, innovative thinking, and the establishment of peace.
Science is not only a source of knowledge but also a driving force of social advancement, whose mission is to solve real problems and serve the well-being of society. Today, more than ever, it is evident that science must be reliable, applicable, and future-oriented. This year, Science Day is celebrated under the theme “Trust, Transformation, and the Future: The Science We Need for 2050,” which highlights the need to understand, define, and move forward in addressing the challenges facing science.
In recent years, the reforms carried out in the field of science in Armenia have been aimed at creating a new scientific environment based on knowledge, quality, and responsibility. This policy includes not only the development of scientific infrastructures but also the encouragement of young scientists, the establishment of innovative enterprises, and the expansion of international cooperation.
In this context, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia holds a special place. Its scientists and researchers make a significant contribution not only to the development of engineering, architectural, and design sciences but also in the fields of Environmental Protection, Management, and Information Technologies.
Our University consistently follows leading international experience, combining theoretical research with practical results. The unity of science and education is our fundamental principle. We believe that every new scientific discovery should serve to strengthen the economy of the country, improve the environment, and reinforce social values.
This day is also an opportunity to express gratitude to all those who, through their scientific work, dedication, and creative thinking, are shaping a new world of knowledge.
I extend my congratulations to you on the occasion of World Science Day. May every new idea become a reality, every research — a useful contribution, and every scientific achievement — a source of our homeland’s strength.
