NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The breath of spring is already felt in the capital, and today the festive mood  has been added to it. Today is March 8, International Women’s Day and the most beautiful spring holiday.

Dearest women and girls, 

I extend my warm congratulations to you on March 8 – International Women’s Day. March 8 was established as International Women’s Day in 1910 and was celebrated a year later. The day has been celebrated in Armenia since 1919. Armenia is the only country where the International Women’s Day puts the beginning of the unofficial month-long celebration declared by the society, which ends on April 7 – Motherhood and Beauty Day.

The Armenian woman has always been the anchor of the Armenian hearth and our nation, and the permanence of the Armenian nation is conditioned by her. Due to her devotion, self-sacrifice, love, wisdom and endurance, the Armenian woman has always kept the fire of the Armenian hearth burning, as well as preserved the traditions and values. Her role in our life is invaluable, which is indeed an undeniable fact.

I would like to congratulate especially NUACA female employees, students and schoolgirls, wishing them an eternal spring mood and, of course, an endless smile.
