Book Giving Day is celebrated in the Republic of Armenia on February 19, in honour of the great Armenian writer, poet and public figure Hovhannes Tumanyan. This year marks the 154th anniversary of the “All-Armenian Poet”.
The purpose of the holiday is to pass on the love of reading and books to the new generations, to make them acquainted with literature and spiritual-cultural values. One of the festive traditions of the day is to give an interesting book to a close person.
Taking into account the importance of education, NUACA Student Council has organized an event in which students gave professional books published by the University to each other, emphasizing the role of books and literature in our lives even more.
