The New Year is a holiday of believing in miracles, Santa Claus, the most beloved, almighty and mysterious friend of children, fulfil that miracles. This year, the dreams of many young children from needy families in the border villages of Tavush region will come true: thanks to the Student Council of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and the idea of the Chair of Economics, Law and Management.
Weeks ago, they launched the “Become Santa” humanitarian, charity program, within the framework of it, they collected Christmas letters from children aged 3-10 living in border villages.
Today, about 100 letters, wrote with great hope, genuine love, and grate expectation, were looking for their miraculous Santa Claus among the university’s leadership, lecturers, staff, and students. Randomly picking the letter, each of them became the secret Santa to the little children.
On Friday, gifts will be ready for their recipients, and on Saturday and Sunday, members of the Student Council will dressed-like Santa Claus and will visit to the border villages to hand out gifts and prove that Christmas dreams come true.
