NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

On September 21, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan handed over high state awards to our compatriots for their services to the Homeland in different spheres.

Within the framework of the event, Ashot Ardvard Kanayan, Professor of the Chair of Urban Planning, PhD in Architecture, was awarded the title of Honorary Architect of the Republic of Armenia.

Ashot Kanayan started his professional career in 1963, is the author of 68 scientific works, scientific articles, reports at international and national conferences and normative documents of the Ministry of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia. The diploma projects supervised by him have been repeatedly awarded about 15 highest prizes in international competitions. Architect A ․ Kanayan is the author of more than 27 projects and he has 9 tender projects.
