Recently, the regular session of the Scientific Council was held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
The agenda included two items: the Competition for the vacancy of Director of the High School affiliated with NUACA and current issues.
Rector of the University Manuk Barseghyan opened the session and delivered a welcoming speech: “Dear colleagues, I welcome you all. I propose to approve the agenda of the session and proceed with the workflow. The procedure of the Competition envisages a number of mandatory criteria that applicants must meet to ensure transparency and fair competition. I wish you a constructive and successful session.”
Only one application for participation in the Competition was submitted by the Acting Director of the School Arusyak Arzumanyan.
Ms. Arzumanyan presented the development plan of the School, highlighting the main priorities.
After the presentation of the program, a Q&A session took place, after which a closed vote was held.
As a result, with 47 votes in favor and 1 against out of 48 voters, Arusyak Arzumanyan was elected the Director of the School by majority decision.
After being elected, Arusyak Arzumanyan expressed her gratitude: “Thank you for your trust. I am confident that the School is already on the right path of development. We need strong will, our country needs peace, and our community needs unity. All other challenges can be overcome through joint effort.”
The session concluded with constructive discussions. NUACA continues to consistently fulfill its mission of improving the quality of education, strengthening the effectiveness of academic institutions and promoting innovative initiatives.
