NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Within the framework of the “Specialty” program of the Public Radio of Armenia, Dean of the Faculty of Design of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia,  PhD in Architecture, Professor Artashes Melikyan talked to Stepan Zakaryan about the “Landscape Design” specialty.

Landscape Design is a specialty that allows us to competently design, organize, arrange green spaces, and make the world around us even more comfortable, beautiful, harmonious, and aesthetic.

During the interview, Artashes Melikyan spoke about the opportunity provided by the specialty, i.e., meeting the demands of nature in the modern urbanistic life of humanity.

Attaching importance to the involvement of both the key players of the field – architects and designers, and the narrow specialists, Mr. Melikyan noted that National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, in addition to general knowledge, also provides applicants with the opportunity to gain specialized knowledge in Landscape Design. The University is provided with all the necessary equipment and auditoriums: studios, computer classrooms, lecture auditoriums, library (including digital), which further enhance the quality of education. Along with all these, the students are also getting acquainted with the IT technical tools that have complemented the field over the last decade.
