APPLICATION OF “LIRA SAPR” SOFTWARE PACKAGE IN THE FIELD OF  REINFORCED CONCRETE BUILDING DESIGN” COURSE ENDED

The “Application of “LIRA SAPR” Software Package in the Field of reinforced concrete Building Design” course organized by NUACA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support and Grant Department ended.  “LIRA SAPR” calculation program has a significant importance in the field of building design. The Program is based on the finite element method and allows accurate assessment of the stress-strain state of the load-bearing elements of buildings.

The aim of the Course was to transfer the necessary skills to the participants regarding the computer modeling and calculation of buildings and structures with bearing systems, as well as design requirements according to the RA Construction Norms.

During the Program, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at NUACA Chair of Building Structures Hovhannes Avagyan presented the features of the finite element method, the creation of a calculation model, the introduction of stiffnesses, the introduction of loads, the introduction of boundary conditions, the introduction of soil conditions, the interpretation of analysis stages, as well as the output and formulation of results to the participants.

Head of NUACA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support and Grant Department Lusine Harutyunyan, noted that the Program will be continuous, and the training of the next group is already envisaged. Mrs. Harutyunyan added that they aim at expanding the directions of the Program and including them in the Course as well.

At the end of the Program, participants who successfully completed the courses were awarded with certificates of completion  by the University.
