NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

University seminars are being held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, which aim to create a platform for exchange of experience, professional dialogue, and presentation of innovative ideas on topics related to various fields of education and science.

The scope of seminars organized in recent months includes both the analysis of the historical and cultural heritage of architecture, as well as the discussion of modern construction technologies, urban development policies, environmental, as well as transport safety issues. The topics presented testify to the multifaceted development of the scientific and educational life of the University and the encouragement of new scientific approaches.

In particular, seminars were held on the following topics:

• “The Capabilities of NUACA Scientific Research Center in Traffic Safety Research,” speakers: K. Mosikyan and A. Harutyunyan;
• “Analysis of International Standards for Sustainable Urban Development and the Possibilities of Implementing These Standards in Armenia”, speaker: A.Grigoryan;
• “The Application of GIS in Urban Governance:, speaker: M. Avetisyan;
• “Study of the Patterns of Change of Hydrodynamic Parameters in the Case of Plane Parallel Accelerating Turbulent Motion of a Viscous Fluid”, speaker: A. Sarukhanyan, G. Vermishyan;
• “Common Mistakes and Violations at Construction Sites”, speaker: L. Karapetyan;
• “Biochar Production Technologies, Characteristic, Application Possibilities in the Production of Building Materials and Ecological Significance”, speakers: M. Avagyan, R. Shainova.

The initiative of the University seminars is aimed not only at promoting scientific and research activities, but also at strengthening ties between young researchers and experienced specialists.
