University with a 100-Year History
A regular session of the “Erasmus+ SAH” project Governance Board was held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. M. Barseghyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, delivered a welcome speech, then conveyed the message of the Rector Y. Vardanyan, in which it was mentioned: “In NUACA, we attach great importance to the “Capacity Building in Sustainability for Architectural Heritage” (Erasmus+ SAH) project. As our partners, we also, having a thousand-year-old and rich historical-cultural heritage, attach great importance to the exchange of achievements and experience with our European and Iranian partners in the field of preservation and restoration of this heritage.”
The “Erasmus+ SAH” project Governance Board session was attended by the representatives of University of L’Aquila (Italy), National Technical University of Athens (Greece), Tabriz Islamic Art University (Iran), Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen University (RWTH, Germany), National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Goris State University, and Armenian Union of Architects.
During the session, Irina Vanyan, who is responsible for the quality of the Project, briefly presented information about the University, Emma Harutyunyan, the coordinator of the academic affairs of the Project, presented the work carried out by NUACA within the framework of the Project, then the local coordinator of the Project, Varazdat Hovhannisyan, presented the agenda of the 4-day visit.
