NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA
University with a 100-Year History
Close cooperation and friendly ties have been established between the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and Clermont Ferrand National Architectural School for already 15 years. During these years numerous joint projects, bilateral visits and working days have been organized.
Today was the 25th jubilee of the joint working week. This time students of different nationalities from Clermont Ferrand and the University of Coruña in Spain, together with the students of our University investigated the building of the former textile factory located in Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan city and proposed reconstruction projects.
The presentation of projects and certificate granting ceremony was attended by the NUACA Rector Gagik Galstyan,Rector of Clermont Ferrand University Aniez Barbiere, the RA Deputy Minister of Culture Arev Samuelyan, the NUACA Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Sargis Tovmasyan, Vice-Rector for International Relations Vardges Yedoyan, acting head and associate professor of the NUACA Chair of the Theory of Architecture, Restoration, Reconstruction, Fine Arts and History Emma Harutyunyan, lecturers and students.
The cooperation between the NUACA and Clermont Ferrand University, however, does not end here. The Rectors of the two universities Dr. Gagik Galstyan and Mr. Aniez Barbiere signed an agreement for five consecutive years for the scientific and academic cooperation in the field of Architecture.
