NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The first open lecture of “Knowing Prominent People” project took place on March 28. The Armenian famous architect Rafael Israelyan’s grandson Aram Khanalanyan presented his grandfather’s architectural path, his deeds and ideas. The Dean of the Architecture Faculty Sargis Tovmasyan and the candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Amina Kanetsyan were present during the lecture, whose presence made the lecture harmonious and attractive.

During the lecture questions were raised, active discussion about the architecture and projects of the Master took place. Surely, the lecture had effects on students’ outlook, as well as contributed to the implementation of further plans based on Armenian national architecture. As the Armenian great Master Rafael Israelyan said: “It is possible to enter the great world of architecture only by own word”.
