NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Information Day of “Erasmus +” projects for internal and external stakeholders was held at NUACA. As a partner university for various consortia, NUACA is currently carrying out five “Erasmus +” projects.

NUACA staff presented the main features, goals, objectives, expected outcomes, as well as the achievements of the following “Erasmus +” projects:

• “Developing Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programmes and Strengthening Research Networks in Geoinformation Technologies in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan” (GeoTAK) (speaker: Varazdat Hovhannisyan);
• “Development of a Flexible, Innovative and Practical Framework for Work-Based Learning in Higher Education of Armenia and Russia” (FlexWBL) (speaker: Irina Vanyan);
• “Transforming Architectural and Civil Engineering Education Towards a Sustainable Model” (TACEESM) (speaker: Armen Shatvoryan);
• Capacity Building in Sustainability for Architectural Heritage” (SAH) (speaker: Emma Harutyunyan);
• “Promoting Academia-Industry Alliances for Research and Development through Collaborative and Open Innovation Platform” (All4R&D) (speaker: Gohar Avetisyan).

The speakers answered many questions asked by the participants. The event was attended by NUACA management represented by Rector Y. Vardanyan. Vice-Rector V. Yedoyan emphasized the importance of “Erasmus +” projects for the development of NUACA and the update of its academic programmes. NUACA Rector extended his gratitude to all the attendees for their participation in the event and for their contribution to NUACA “Erasmus +” projects.
