Yesterday Armen MINASYAN was appointed as the advisor to the President of the State Committee for Urban Development by the order of the President of the State Committee for Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia Narek SARGSYAN. Mr. MINASYAN has been on the same position on voluntary basis since October 2016. Armen MINASYAN is an architect, he was born in Tehran, in the capital of Iran, in 1970. From 1992 to 1998 he studied at the Institute of Architecture and Construction of Yerevan and obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture.
He upgraded his professional know-how by training courses at RUTGERS University, New Jersey, USA and at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. For already two decades he designs projects both in Iran and Armenia. He delivers a course on “Urban Problems and Modern Architecture” at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. He was the President of the Union of the Armenian Architects and Engineers in Iran, as well as the member and the founding member of the Board of Directors of the Union of the Iranian Architects.
