NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Complex events are continuously held at NUACA in order to introduce BIM Technologies, among which the training of lecturers and the review of academic programs play a key role. For this purpose, through the efforts of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Center, training of 7 lecturers of the University was organized in the direction of “AUTODESK AutoCAD Civil 3D” software package. The trainer was Aren Robert Soghoyan, who has many years of work experience in “ARTSAKHROAD” project institute and “AAB PROJECT” construction company.

The two-month course started on March 2 of this year, including the three Chairs of the University:

1․ Chair of Engineering Geodesy,

2․ Chair of Roads and Bridges,

3․ Chair of Hydroconstruction, Water Systems and Hydroelectric Power Plants.

At the end of the training a meeting took place. It was attended by NUACA Rector Y. Vardanyan, Chief of the Staff H. Hoveyan and Head of the Quality Center Varazdat Hovhannisyan. The trained participants received certificates. The Rector, attaching importance to the need for such events, highlighted that they will be continuous, involving not only specialists, but also students. The trained lecturers will already include the relevant program packages in their lectures in September, which will also contribute to the integration of students in innovative teaching processes.
