NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

They say that the best option to get to know people better is traveling together. The community of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia knows this and every year when summer comes around, the students become a large and united camping group and are on their way to an impressive camp full of explorations and victories.

This year, “The Gathering of Young Engineers 2020” was held in Stepanavan on 27-31 August. Further, there is no camping without a campfire. Following the anti-epidemic rules, our students got acquainted with each other, shared interests, discussed the things to do in the coming days.

The teams titled “The Yervandunis”, “The Haykazunis”, “The Arshakunis”, “The Artashesyans”, “The Mamikonyans”, “The Bagratunis” with Armenian kings’ confidence and with the aim for victory took part in the competition of chess and volleyball. Moreover, they competed in shooting games as well as in various national games.

The best players were obvious, but new challenges were coming for a winner. The next activity was a drawing competition “Dynasties”, where each of the teams were showing excellent results and were approaching the finish line. We will speak about the finish at the end.

According to the participants of the camping, the days were not only full of games and competitions but also with educational talks. A lecture on “First Aid” was held for the prospective students by the future doctors of Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi hosted by the Student Council.

Finally, the day came for summarizing the results and determining the winners. As a result, the first winner was the team “Astashesyans”, the second was “Mamikonyans” and the third was “Bagratunis”. Returning to Yerevan without any new and unforgettable impression was impossible. The students summed up the camping days with a walking tour at the top of the mountain with breakfast and refreshing and cold air of Lori.
