NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The already traditional 21st event organized by Open studio was held at NUACA. This time, the guest speaker was the founder and chief architect of “UMEDYAN”, Levon Umedyan. He talked over the relations among thinking, time, and architecture as well as the importance of creativity and metamorphoses. The speech included a presentation that introduced Levon Umedyan’s bright, unique and versatile architectural expressions spread throughout Armenia and Artsakh: churches, schools, hospitals, houses of culture, community centers, cloisters, multi-family residential buildings, monument complexes, hotels, gyms, vacation rentals, courts. In the end, the guest-speaker answered students’ questions with pleasure and wished them clear understanding and enhancement of creative metamorphoses and thinking.
