NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Summer would not be full without joyful, educational and active camp. This year the Student Council of NUACA also took care that the students of the University, NUACA Secondary Vocational Education College and pupils of the High School named after M. Abeghian had an unforgettable vacation.

On July 15-20, around 100 young people participated in “Young Engineers’ Assembly 2019” at “LORE” recreational and leisure center, Stepanavan. Special guests of the assembly were the students of “Emily Aregak” center. The intention of the tenth camp was to enrich students’ knowledge base through seminars, intellectual games, traditional dances, and bring together students from different faculties as a result of direct contact.

The camp agenda was classic: intellectual game-competitions, chess championship, songs and dances.

During the solemn closing ceremony of the “Young Engineers’ Assembly 2019”, the campers were divided into 8 detachments, which were named after the Armenian royal dynasties: Yervanduni, Arshakuni, Artashesyan, Bagratuni, Mamikonyan, Artsruni, Haykazuni and Siunia . Detachments that ran 1-3 places were decided.

Artashesian dynasty: 22 points, honorable 1st horizontal.

Arshakuni dynasty:  20 points, 2nd horizontal.

Artsruni dynasty:  18 points, 3rd horizontal.

The rector of the University Gagik Galstyan, Honorary Chairman of the Student Council Hovsep Hoveyan, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Technology Tigran Martirosyan were present at the closing ceremony. The head of the assembly, the chairman of the Student Council Armen Harutyunyan and the rector Gagik Galstyan congratulated the best-serving detachments and awarded them with a victorious cup, medals and diplomas. The campers performed a beautiful dance and then introduced the camp’s structure and daily routine to the guests.
