NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Almost all projects of the exhibition, which were opened within the framework of Italian Design Days, were awarded. The latter were the works by architects Livio Sacchi (President of the Italian Architects Union), Stefano Ragazzo, Francesco Manyani, Barbara Camochini and engineer-researcher Mauro Annunziato, about how smart and stable cities ,buildings with unique and comfortable solutions should be.

As we have already mentioned, within the framework of the event, lectures under the title “Smart City” were also held for a wide range of students and lecturers at our University.

1. Sacchi presented a lecture on “Architectural heritage in Ethiopia. Restoration of two imperial complexes”, Stefano Ragezzo: “Total area of the building”, Francesco Manyani: “Venice. Recent new works’’ Mauro Annunziato: “Smart cities. Roadmap to sustainable cities” and Barbara Kamochini: “The city speaks about itself. Practice-research experiences between the University, City Hall and City Community’’.

The interest in Italian architecture and design was great; the desire to acquire new ideas and knowledge was awesome. This was evidenced by the number of participants and their enthusiasm during the lectures.

Italian Design Days were summarized with friendly warmth, with a promising perspective of new meetings and cooperation.
