At the initiative of the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Director of the Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Matthew Warren recently visited Armenia.
Within the framework of the visit, Matthew Warren visited National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, where a meeting was held with the Management of the University. During the Meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for developing cooperation within the Armenian and international scientific and educational environment, particularly in the areas of research and innovative projects.
During the Meeting, the parties presented the main directions of activity of their universities, followed by discussions on the prospects for possible cooperation. The discussions focused on the fields of Architecture and Construction, with particular emphasis on the importance of applying artificial intelligence in construction processes, as well as on issues related to Design and Project Management.
The implementation of joint scientific and research projects in the fields of mutual interest was also discussed, along with the development of cooperation within the framework of international Erasmus+ grant programs, opportunities for personnel training, and the introduction of joint academic programmes.
The Meeting was an important step toward expanding international partnerships of NUACA and strengthening effective cooperation with leading foreign universities.
