The Faculty of Design participated in the XXXIV International Annual Review-Contest (МООСАО of graduation works in the Fields of Architecture, Design and Art.
The Contest was held in Magnitogorsk (Russian Federation). 7 graduation works and 5 master’s theses were presented.
The Event launched with a welcoming speech by NUACA Rector Manuk Barseghyan: “Dear colleagues, this international platform is an important opportunity for our students and lecturers to present their best works in the fields of Design and Architecture, and Art in general. The University highly appreciates such achievements, and today the winners of the Contest will be encouraged with symbolic gifts. I would like to extend my gratitude to all the students and supervisors for their dedication and creative work.”
Dean of the Faculty of Design Artashes Melikyan also delivered a congratulatory speech: “I heartily extend my congratulations to both the students and the lecturers who supervised the works. The presence and victories of our Faculty on the international stage have become a beautiful tradition. This is not only a high assessment of our work, but also a great honour for the University and Armenia.”
As a result of the Contest, 9 students were awarded with I class diplomas, some of them with additional diplomas, and 3 students with II class diplomas. Laureate diplomas for the best supervision of graduation works were awarded to Associate Professor of the Chair of Design, PhD in Arts Ani Acharyan, Associate Professor Tamara Tuysuzyan, and Lecturer of the Chair of Interior and Exterior Design Eleonora Margaryan.
Dean Artashes Melikyan, Head of the Chair of Design Ashot Baghdasaryan, and Assistant of the Chair of Interior and Exterior Design Arsen Mkrtchyan were awarded with certificates of appreciation by the Rector.
