Today the delegation of Moscow School of Architecture (MARSH) arrived to NUACA by a working visit including the school director Nikita Tokarev, dean of school Eugene Asse, architects Nikolay Malinin and Alexander Brodskiy.
Firstly, NUACA rector Gagik Galstyan welcomed the guests with hope that the visit would be the establishment of new cooperation. MARSH dean Eugene Asse thanked for invitation, presented their projected deeds and perspectives with our university. He appreciated the fact that there were many Armenian specialists teaching at MARSH who have their important roles at the school and this circumstance broadens the possibilities for successive cooperation.
After the meeting with the rector MARSH delegation met with the faculty of our university and briefed about the establishment of school and their 4-year activities. Eugene Asse especially emphasized the fact of European diplomas issued by MARSH as a result of partnership that MARSH and London Metropolitan University have struck. Asse told that currently MARSH is included in the list of 100 best architectural schools.
After the academic meetings the architects of MARSH went to the National Museum-Institute of Architecture of Armenia where they gave the master classes for a large group of students. During the new and interesting hours filled by vocational information the students received the answers to their questions and learnt about the stand and approaches of the Russian independent architectural school.
For tomorrow study tours to the sites of Etchmiadzin, Zvartnotz, Garni temple, Geghard monastery, Matenadaran and Yerevan Brandy Company are scheduled for MARSH delegation.
