The Worldskills 2024 Olympiad took place in Lyon, France, where Armenia was represented with honour by the students of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Luiza Mkrtchyan (Web Technologies) and Armine Hakobyan (Mobile Applications). The team was led by a Lecturer at the Chair of Informatics, Computing Techniques and Management Systems Karen Petrosyan.
Before the Olympiad, students deepened their professional knowledge at NUACA and Picsart Academy, exploring new programming languages and skills. During the four days of the Olympiad, they took exams lasting six hours each day, demonstrating their preparedness and abilities.
In Lyon participants visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in the French Republic, as well as various museums, and got acquainted with the cultural heritage of the City.
This important event was not only a platform for students’ professional growth, but also a solid foundation for international cooperation and new opportunities for professional development, which contributes to the recognition and progress of Armenian students in the international arena.
