The first session of the newly formed Board of Trustees was held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. The agenda included 2 issues: the election of the Chairman and Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Chairman of the Urban Development Committee, PhD in Technical Sciences, Professor Yeghiazar Vardanyan was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees by the unanimous vote of the members of the Board, and the University applicant Khachatur Khachatryan was re-appointed as the Secretary.
NUACA Acting Rector Manuk Barseghyan, congratulating Mr. Vardanyan, noted in his speech: “I assure you that we will continue to implement all the reforms that we have already started under the leadership of Mr. Vardanyan in accordance with the strategic plan approved in 2021. One of the vivid proofs of the effectiveness of the initiated reforms is the continuous increase in the number of applicants in the last 3 years.”
Newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees Yeghiazar Vardanyan, congratulating the new team and extending his gratitude to everyone, noted: “It is a great honour to take part in the reform programmes implemented at our dear University and to contribute to the development of it. Thank you for your trust. I am confident that the cooperation will be mutually beneficial.”
At the end of the Session, the members of the Board of Trustees emphasized the continuity of the work carried out jointly by the Academic and Administrative Staff of the University, which is due to the high efficiency of the reforms implemented in the academic and scientific fields of the University.
