NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Secondary Vocational Education College of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia implemented a program on the topics of “Armenian Taraz” and “Gastro-Tourism in Armenia”. The event was organized by the history lecturer of the College Taguhi Serobyan. Lecturer of the College Taguhi Serobyan and Director Anahit Hovhannisyan delivered an opening speech at the ceremony. Mrs. Hovhannisyan noted that the Armenian taraz not only expressed our identity, but was also one of the impulses that preserved our identity, by having a centuries-old history and being as rich and diverse as our multi-dialectical language.

The Event was attended by students from different groups of the College, who presented themselves in their own sewn tarazes. They also presented the national song and dance, features of women’s and men’s tarazes, Armenian cuisine, dishes, etc.

The students’ Event was aimed at contributing to the development of gastro-tourism in Armenia. Advisor to NUACA Rector Arman Arakelyan, lecturers, students and parents also attended the Event.
