Recently, an international workshop was held at Klaipeda University, Lithuania, within the framework of Erasmus+ FlexWBL project entitled “Development of a Flexible, Innovative and Practical Framework for Work-Based Learning in Higher Education of Armenia and Russia” funded by the European Union.
From NUACA, the Head of the Chair of Economics, Law and Management Tatevik Yedoyan, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Construction Viktoria Partizpanyan, the Head of the Department of the Education Process Organization Tatevik Sargsyan, and the Chief Specialist of the Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance Department Ani Hakobyan participated in the workshop.
During the workshop, Mrs. Yedoyan presented the work carried out within the framework of the FlexWBL project, the details of the launched pilot programme, the relevant changes made in the curriculum of the “Project Management” (in the field of Construction) graduate academic programme, as well as the agreements reached with partner organizations. While A. Hakobyan presented the results of surveys conducted among the students of “Project Management” graduate programme and the management of partner organizations within NUACA academic framework, as well as the analyzes and conclusions made, in order to determine the level of awareness of work-based learning, anticipated opportunities and risks.
Attaching importance to disseminating information about the project, NUACA team organized an informative meeting in a hybrid format, the purpose of which was to inform stakeholders about the main advantages and obstacles of implementing work-based learning in Armenian universities, which were found within the framework of Erasmus+ FlexWBL project.
