NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

It was in February this year when the delegation of the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction, within the framework of cooperation with ”Hrant Dink” Foundation and the ”Gyumri Youth Initiative Center” NGO, traveled to Turkey.

Members of the delegation had meetings with representatives of ”Hrant Dink” Foundation, Archbishop Levon Zekiian, visited historical sites, schools, museums, MEF University in Istanbul, where students delivered lectures on architecture.

The first visit had successful result The students of our university, with 6 Turkish students, designed and then implemented the project of the Armenian kindergarten playground project which is under the patronage of the Armenian Church in Istanbul.

This visit was at the invitation of the Istanbul University MEF and funded by the “Hrant Dink” Foundation.

From June 25 to July 13, Artur Eghikyan and Grigor Babajanyan with 5 students at the Chair of architectural design and design of architectural environment of the Faculty of Architecture, participated at the Summer School in Istanbul.

Saturated working days were summed up with certificates and enthusiastic attitude to our students’ works
