THE INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP OF THE ERASMUS+ T-GREEN PROJECT WAS HELD AT INTERNATIONAL HELLENIC UNIVERSITY

Recently, the international workshop of the Erasmus+ CBHE Project “Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future” (T-GREEN) funded by the European Union has been held at International Hellenic University (Greece).

Head of NUACA Education Quality Assurance and Development Center Varazdat Hovhannisyan, who is the coordinator of the Project, welcomed the participants at the opening ceremony and presented the agenda of the international workshop.

Head of Strategic Projects at Eurasia International University and T-GREEN Project co-coordinator, as well as an Erasmus+ Higher Education Reform Expert (HEREs) Arevik Ohanyan, presented the Project’s chain of reforms and actions, vision, expected outcomes, three-year action plan, and the joint graduate programmes envisaged by T-GREEN.

This three-year Project is aimed at the necessary reforms of graduate education implemented at universities, with a focus on “Green” policy. Implementation of the Project will allow universities to move from traditional academic programmes to future-oriented, green, and interdisciplinary academic programmes, promoting student mobility, developing mechanisms for the implementation of academic programmes awarding joint qualification degrees.

Armenian participants of the Project are: the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (coordinator), National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation, Eurasia International University (co-coordinator), Yerevan State University, Armenian State University of Economics, French University of Armenia, National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Armenian National Agrarian University, Goris State University, Gavar State University, as well as “Erasmus Student Network Yerevan” and “Bridge of Hope” NGOs.

EU partners are International Hellenic University (Greece), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Catholic University of Portugal (Portugal), and Jagiellonian University of Krakow (Poland).
