NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

NUACA Department of Admissions and Career held a workshop entitled “The Role of an Engineer in the Solar Industry,” in cooperation with Arpi Solar, which aimed to enhance awareness and development of the solar industry and the involvement of NUACA students.

It is worth noting that between March 14 and April 6, a group of active students with high academic performance participated in an academic internship. Throughout the internship, experienced engineers shared their extensive expertise and skills. Following the internship, one of the students was offered a job opportunity.

NUACA student Armen Sahakyan works as an engineer in Arpi Solar. Armen states that he became interested in the field when the company staff visited the University to meet with students. Arpi Solar involved participating students in the seminar as well, asking questions to understand their interest in the industry.

A few active students were invited to the company, and Armen was selected as an employee of the company. “After a month of internship, I was hired. Of course, I thought this experience would end with the internship, but I received an unexpected offer.

It was very interesting and useful for me to be in the same environment with experienced employees because every day I learned something new. The biggest contributor to all this is the University; if not for the knowledge given by the University and organized meetings, I would not be here today,” said the student.
