NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

During the 15-year cooperation between National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and the Beijing University of Civil Engineering Civil Engineeringand Architecture, exchanges of students, lecturers, experts, summer schools, conferences, and student competitions were organized. It is already the second year, NUACA students and lecturers participate in the “BELT AND ROAD” Architectural University International Consortium. This year the 5th anniversary of the “BELT AND ROAD” Architectural University International Consortium and the 115th anniversary of the foundation of Beijing University of Civil Engineering Civil Engineeringand Architecture are celebrated. Students of NUACA Faculties of Architecture and Construction participated with their projects in the international student competition of digital architectural design. The Faculty of Architecture (5 students and 2 supervisors) submitted a project entitled “Conceptual Architectural Design of the Dabancheng Railway Station” and the Faculty of Construction (4 students and 2 supervisors) submitted a project entitled “Design of “KM20+300” Bridge on the Fioletovo-Vanadzor Section of Yerevan-Ayrum Georgian Border” in the competition.

NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan congratulated the students once again: “It is commendable that this year, besides the students of the Faculty of Architecture, the students of the Faculty of Construction are participating as well. This is a very important programme widespread all over the world. Our students have always occupied high positions, and this year the Faculty of Construction, participating for the first time, also had achievements,” noted Mr. Vardanyan.

Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan once again congratulated the students and handed over the awards and certificates of appreciation.
