NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

From the 4th to the 10th of March, the 23rd week of the annual Jacobus Plus student project carried out under the Erasmus Plus program took place at the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

The students of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia participated in the workshop with the Universities of A Coruña of Spain, Regensburg of Germany and the National School of Architecture of Clermont-Ferrand La France. The theme of the 58 students’ discussion was the Regensburg Wheat Barn complex, considered a historic and industrial monument, which had ceased its main activity. The students were assigned to propose new architectural and conceptual approaches for the further use of the complex.

During the whole week the students had visited the place and worked in different groups communicating their proposals and conceptions.
At the end of the working week each student, returning to his homeland dedicated their efforts for the development of own projects. 

From May 27th to June 4th at the University of A Coruña in Spain the competitive presentation of the projects took place. At the end, one winning project was selected for each participating university. Our university partook with 2 projects at the contest, one of which was announced as a winning project and its authors received words of admiration and praise due to their unique approach to the task.
