NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

NUACA students had a meeting with the Head of the High Tech Department at RA Ministry of High Tech Industry Henrik Mirzoyan, and an Expert of the High Tech Department Anush Grigoryan to get more information about the details of the “From Idea to Business” grant programme.

NUACA Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Manuk Barseghyan welcomed the students, noting that they are mostly the stakeholders of the programme. He also added that it is a very good opportunity for those students who are going to specialize in the field in future.

The Head of the High Tech Department at the RA Ministry of High Tech Industry Henrik Mirzoyan extended his gratitude to them for their warm welcome. He also welcomed the participants, presented the programme, and added that this year, in addition to companies, natural persons can also participate.

The purpose of the programme is to support the progress of high-tech products in the market from idea to maturity through funding. It has two components: “Idea Phase” and “Market Entry Phase”, the total grant fund of which amounts to 350 million AMD.

A discussion was held during the programme in order to introduce programme details and ensure student engagement.

Summing up, Mr. Mirzoyan noted: “Due to cooperation with universities, we will have the opportunity to support the implementation of the complex process of turning new ideas into products and positioning them in the market.”
