NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

On June 16-17, 2022, a working meeting of the Governance Board was held within the framework of the “ERASMUS+ SAH” (N:618843-EPP-1-2020-1-IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) Project in L’Aquila, Italy. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Chair of Theory of Architecture, Restoration and Reconstruction of Historical-Architectural Heritage, Fine Arts and History, PhD in Architecture, Professor Emma Harutyunyan, PhD in Architecture Madlena Igitkhanyan, and Associate Professor Garnik Stepanyan. NUACA team presented historical, educational-methodical, administrative, and cultural information about our University.

In order to improve NUACA academic programmes related to architectural heritage, within the framework of the “Erasmus+ SAH” Project, NUACA team has proposed six new subjects, regarding which syllabi have been developed in a special format. During the visit, a relevant agreement was reached on the support of European partner universities in the development process of each subject. The next meeting of the Governance Board of the “SAH” Project was suggested to be held in Yerevan in the second week of September. A one-week training for lecturers is to be organized at the University of Athens (Greece) in October of the present year. The next step is to submit the revised syllabi for approval.
