NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Center (InnESC Center) of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia is implementing the “SAP 2000” professional advanced course for all interested people. The course will be conducted by an experienced specialist of NUACA Chair of Roads and Bridges, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Artashes Sargsyan.

The “SAP2000” software package allows to implement static and dynamic calculations of building structures during design.

Upon the completion of the course, participants will gain general knowledge about “SAP2000” software, will be able to calculate the strains in different structural elements, use “SAP2000” for design and calculation of structures, and transfer data to Excel format for further calculations. In case of applying the acquired knowledge, the participants will be able to quickly specialize in the use of the software package.

The course is intended only for those students of NUACA Faculty of Construction and Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology, who want to study the “SAP2000” software for the design and calculation of structures. It is a necessary precondition to have knowledge in “Construction Mechanics” and “Strength of Materials” subjects. All registered students will be additionally informed about the launch of the course. The course is free of charge.
