The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Media Initiatives Center are organizing Media Literacy Week in Armenia on November 8-14, 2021.

Media literacy is a protective mask that helps to avoid media infections, to understand the impact of the media, to maintain digital hygiene, to take deliberate measures in not getting lost in information flows, by differentiating between fake and true, and using media tools more effectively.

Media Literacy Week is a global movement that is held every autumn in different countries of the world under the auspices of UNESCO. This year, UNICEF Armenia has also joined the Media Literacy Week in Armenia.

From November 8-14, you can join various online lesson-discussions on the Media Initiatives Center’s “#ԴԻՄԱԿայումենք” Facebook campaign page. There you will also find information on event hours, speakers, registration procedures, as well as initiatives of partner organizations.
