“THE POWER OF A CV”: SERIES OF INTERACTIVE SEMINARS

Anna Grigoryan, lecturer at the Chair of Economics, Law and Management, will conduct a series of interactive seminars on March 16, 18 and 19 at 3 p.m. in auditorium 2021.

Organizer of the series of seminars A. Grigoryan has 7 years of experience (Human Resources (HR) Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets LM LLC) and in 2016-2019 participated in a number of courses and trainings in Dubai and Tbilisi.

On the second and third days of the seminars there will also be invited specialists: Mariana Edilyan (HR Director at ID Bank) and Anna Akulyan (Senior HR at Rosneft Armenia CJSC).

DAY 1: March 16 – “The Power of a CV”

On the first day of the seminar the participants will be introduced with:

  • · CV and its importance,
  • · The content of the CV,
  • · Structural features of the CV depending on the field of activity,
  • · The latest trends in CV writing,
  • · The 5 Most Common Mistakes in a CV.

DAY 2: March 18 – “DOs and DON’Ts of an Interview”

On the second day of the seminar the participants will be introduced with:

  • · DOs and DON’Ts of interviews,
  • · How to make a better impression and introduce yourself to the employer,
  • · Frequently Asked Questions, for example, whether or not to call the employer after the interview,

DAY 3: March 19 – “How to Introduce Yourself to the Employer?”

On the third day of the seminar the participants will be introduced with:

  • · CV as a “an item for sale”,
  • · The content of the Cover letter you attach to your CV,
  • · How to introduce yourself to the employer from a more beneficial side,
  • · How to successfully pass the probation period and overcome the difficulties related to it.

The seminar will be summed up with a question and answer (Q&A) session. Participants will have the opportunity to make a CV on the spot and receive a professional consultation. There will also be a reproduction of job interview models on a practical example. Each seminar will last 2 hours.

The seminars are aimed at helping youth overcome the difficulties of the initial stage of employment, gain skills to properly introduce themselves to the employer and successfully pass the probation period.
