Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and the Armenian representation of the Project Management Institute (PMI) are initiating a series of seminars aimed at the professional development of NUACA students and specialists in the field.
The aim of the Seminars is to expand participants’ understanding of modern construction project management and infrastructure projects implemented with the involvement of donor organizations.
The series of the seminars is entitled “Donor-Funded Infrastructure Projects and Construction Management.” The Seminars will be conducted by leading specialists in the field such as President at PMI Armenia and Project Management Professional Astghik Sahakyan, Vice-President at PMI Armenia and Project Management Professional in Civil Construction Yervand Hovhannisyan, as well as an experienced specialist in legal support for large-scale infrastructure projects Mariam Badeyan.
During the Program, participants will have the opportunity to learn about donor-funded projects, construction project management and scheduling, donor-funded contract management and FIDIC contracts, construction contract management, as well as explore best practices and cases.
During the Seminars, a raffle will be held among students, as a result of which PMI Armenia and partner organizations “Azurit” LLC and “VGM Projects” LLC will provide 30 students with the opportunity to receive an annual PMI membership (www.pmi.org), as well as to initiate the establishment of the PMI Armenia Student Club.
At the end of the Seminars, all participants will receive certificates.
