SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION FOR FRESHMEN IN FULL-TIME STUDIES ADMITTED TO NUACA BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAM

Within the framework of the program “Jerair Nishanian Foundation Scholarship”, Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) announces a competition for tuition fee refund for freshmen in full-time studies who were admitted to NUACA Bachelor’s Degree program. The program envisages the provision of financial assistance by the Jerair Nishanian Foundation for the annual tuition fee of the University, and a scholarship for books and stationery.

            The following students are eligible to apply for the competition:

  • First-year full-time students of the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Design, Faculty of Industrial and Civil Construction of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia,
  • Students who had high academic performance at school, got excellent or good grades at unified and University exams,
  • Students who are from socially disadvantaged families.

The procedure for participating in the competition of the program “Jerair Nishanian Foundation Scholarship”:
            NUACA students who meet the above-mentioned criteria should submit the following documents to the Armenian branch of the FAR located at 22 Movses Khorenatsi Street, Yerevan, or send them to the following e-mail addresses: edik.karapetyan@far.am, mane.khachatryan@far.am from July 18 to August 4, 2023 included:

  • Application (you can also get the form by applying to the above-mentioned addresses or through the Facebook page of the FAR: facebook/ Farusa (Fund for Armenian relief)),
  • Copy of passport,
  • 1 photo ( 3×4 size),
  • Copy of certificate of secondary education,
  • Copy of the list of admission to the University approved by ATC of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, or the University reference,
  • Reference on grades of unified and University exams,
  • Reference on the level of social disadvantage of the family (if available),
  • Reference from the place of work of the parents indicating their position and salary. If they do not work, a reference from the Territorial Employment Center or a copy of the employment record book with clarification on current employment or the cause of unemployment,
  • A brief autobiography indicating the reason for applying to this program.

Incomplete documents will not be considered. The selection of beneficiaries will take place in two stages:

  1. Observation of submitted documents,
  2. Interview with the applicant.
