NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia continues the series of meetings with the representatives of cultural, social and scientific spheres.

The next meeting will take place with the founder of “Nur Design” creative studio and “Nur Art Gallery Yerevan”, designer, goldsmith, sculptor and painter NUR-Arman Davtyan on May 13, Thursday, at 1.30 p.m. in auditorium 2025 /Architect’s Studio/. The entrance is free.

NUR has always been exhibited both in a dozen solo exhibitions and has participated in various group exhibitions. During his career, Nur has received a number of prestigious awards and prizes from Armenia and abroad, such as the First Prize at the “YUVELIR 1994” world exhibition in Moscow, first prize in the “Best Jewelry” category of “YUVELIR 2001” international exhibition, First prize for the collection “Color of Love” in the international “YUVELIR 2005” exhibition of jewelry and watches, Highest Prize in Russian Fashion Week 2007. In October 2017, Arman Nur’s sculptures called “Fly” and “Evolution” were awarded the Lorenzo il Magnifico Gold Medal at the International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy. Arman Nur’s sculpture “Jesus” won the “Critics Award” at the Bibart 2018/2019 International Art Biennale, Bari, Italy.

Nur’s jewelry is worn by world-famous people such as Andre Agassi, Cherilyn Sarkisian, Maya Plisetskaya, Al Jarreau, Madeleine Albright, Montserrat Caballé, Nino Katamadze and others.
