The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy (MAECI) is offering grants to study in Italy in the fields of culture, science and technology for the 2023-2024 academic year (https://studyinitaly.esteri.it/en/call-for-procedur).
- Art: MA – the grant is provided for 6-9 months (https://www.universitaly.it/)
- Higher education courses in Art, Music and Dance (AFAM) – the grant is provided for 6-9 months (https://www.universitaly.it/).
- Doctorate – the grant is provided for 6-9 months. Applicant(s) must meet the university requirements, as well as submit a letter of recommendation.
- Academic Research Programme – this grant is awarded for scientific-research programmes in Italian scientific-research institutions (National Research Council of Italy, Italian National Institute of Health, National Institute for Nuclear Physics of Italy, National Institute for Astrophysics of Italy, Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research, etc.), public or other universities, museums and archives. Applicants should submit an invitation, a research project, indicating the supervisor’s name and contacts (email).
- Advanced Courses in Italian Language and Culture – grants are awarded for 3 months of study. Italian speaking people can participate in the programme. Applicants must provide an A2 level certificate meeting the European standards of Italian language proficiency:

In order to apply, it is necessary to upload the necessary documents (passport, photo) on the official website of Study in Italy (https://studyinitaly.esteri.it) until June 9.
