NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

By the decision made at the Government session dated April 7, amendments have been made to the Regulation for the admission to the RA higher education institutions.

The decision stipulates that the applicant can take the unified state examination twice- in January and in June-July of the given year.

The applicant who took two unified state examinations in the same subject participates for the admission to the corresponding specialty with the application for state-funded or not state-funded education with the highest score obtained from the exam. The purpose of granting the right to take a unified state examination twice is to give the applicant the opportunity to try again, taking into account the applicant’s anxiety and the high stress factor.

The new Regulation envisages online application of graduates for a maximum of two unified state examinations from December 15 to December 25 of the given year and taking unified state examinations from January 15 to February 15.

As in previous years, according to the new Regulation as well, unified state examinations will  be held also in summer, from June 1 to July 10. In order to take the exams in summer, the graduates of the general, primary and secondary vocational education institutions of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the previous-year graduates, must apply online for the exams from April 15 to May 10 of the given year.

Foreign citizens, graduates of foreign educational institutions in the given year, demobilized applicants or applicants who will be demobilized till July 31 of the given year can apply for the exams online from June 26 to July 1, and the exams will be organized in the first ten days of July.

Applicants who have not been admitted to the university as a result of the main stage of enrollment can participate in the additional stage of specialty applications, which covers the period from July 19 to July 26 of the given year.

Applicants can apply online for enrollment in one or more universities for up to six specialties if there are vacancies in those specialties. Only applicants with high grades on the exam can participate in the vacancy competition.
