INFORMATION  FOR MASTER DEGREE FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS OF THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA FOR THE 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) announces a competition for Master degree first-year students of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia within the framework of the “Haladjian Tuition fees” program.

The competition is open to those students who:

  1. A) entered the Master degree first-year course at the Faculty of Architecture or Construction of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia,
  2. B) had a high academic performance during the years of study under the bachelor’s program,
  3. D) from a socially insecure family,
  4. E) undertake to live and work in the territories of Armenia or Artsakh at least 2 years after  graduation.

Procedure for participating to the “Halajian Tuition Fee” competition is:

From the July 15 to September 1, 2019, the NUACA students who meet the above conditions must submit the following documents to the Armenian Branch of the FAR (32 Khorenatsi St. Yerevan)

  • Application (you can get the form from FAR and from the Master’s Degree department of the mentioned higher educational institutions )
  • Passport copy
  • 1 photo (3×4 dimensions),
  • certificate from the university confirming the fact of studding in the magistracy,
  • a copy of a bachelor’s degree diploma and a copy of the diploma insert,
  • certificate from the parents ’place of work, indicating their position and salary, if they do not work – a certificate from the Employment Center or a copy of the work record,
  • justification of the goal: a brief biography, your achievements, why did you choose this profession and how are you going to apply this knowledge in the future. Indicate participation in community activities and involvement in research papers.

In case of necessity, references may also be required from the place of residence, community social service, etc.

Incomplete documents will not be considered.

The selection of beneficiaries will take place in 3 stages.

  1. Examination of submitted documents,
  2. Summarizing the results of the visits to the students’ home,
  3. Interviewing as needed.
