Starting from 2024-2025 academic year, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia is launching “Nature Protection and Natural Resource Management” graduate academic programme, the need for implementation of which stems from modern academic requirements, the policy adopted by the Republic of Armenia in the field, as well as the existing needs and priorities in the field of Nature Protection and Management.
The current economic developments and new challenges in the field of urban development and nature protection, including Armenia, put the sustainable management issues of the environment on the agenda. Taking into account that the specialty can serve a wide professional audience related to various environmental issues, the course is planned to be part-time, which opens up an opportunity to get such graduate education for working professionals as well.
The academic programme consists of about 14 professional subjects, some of which will be taught for the first time in Armenia. The programme is developed on the basis of the best international academic practices, in line with national as well as UN Sustainable Development goals.
The duration of the study is 1.5 years and the tuition fee is 480,000 AMD for each year (720,000 AMD for 1.5 years).
