NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia announces a competition for the provision of internal grants for 2025. The purpose of the competition is to support scientific-research work, as well as to ensure the participation of students in their implementation.

Representatives of the University’s main working and academic staff with an academic degree, as well as researchers with the involvement of at least two students can participate in the Competition.

Applications for interchair research may also be submitted to the competition, involving one supervisor from each chair and at least one student. In such cases, a coefficient of 1.5 is applied to the established grant amount.

The groups may include 4th-year graduate and undergraduate students whose average grade is at least 18. In other cases, with the guarantee of the deans of the faculties, 3rd-year undergraduate students may also be included in the group.

In order to participate in the Competition, the following documents must be submitted to NUACA Science Department by February 1, 2025:

• The application of the group leader;
• The application;
• The program estimate, indicating the distribution of funds among the participants;
• The conclusion of the Scientific Council of the relevant faculty regarding the novelty and applied significance of the topic; 
• Copies of passports of the participants;
• The list of scientific and scientific-methodical works published by the topic supervisor in the last 5 years;
• References regarding students’ GPAs issued by the Dean’s Office of the relevant faculty;
• Information on the possibility of investing the research outcomes in professional academic programmes.

Applications can be submitted to the Competition in the following thematic areas:

1. Technical sciences;

2. Architecture;

3. Design;

4. Economics (field of Construction)

5. Management (field of Construction).

In 2025, a different grant is also planned to be provided to the NUACA Young Researchers’ Union for interdisciplinary research.
